| When Victor Durand died in
1931 so did his art glass business. His business partner Evan Kimble
was convinced to keep the shop open one more year to produce a new
line of glass that was similar to Steuben's Cluthra. It was made in
a similar manner using a powdered glass formula that called for lots
of bubbles in the batch. It was produced for about a year and then
discontinued. Kimble glass was signed with a "K" in a similar
manner that the "V" was used in Durand's glass. This one
is signed "1995-8 K Dec-8". It's in excellent condition with no chips
or cracks.
