Stunning Findlay Onyx Spooner. This rare form of art glass was manufactured by the Dalzell, Gillmore and Leight Co. in 1989. Due to it's brittle nature, the glass chipped and cracked easily. Production ceased after only six months. This Spooner is cased and has a white lining. The glass has lots of opalescent fire when held to the light. The rim is in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. I'm not an "expert" in this type of glass so I don't know if the rim has been previously ground down. Excellent shape with no cracks or chips.
