Here's an interesting German
Art Nouveau vase produced by one of the leading German designers at
the time, Jean Beck. This style of art glass
vase was referred to as Jugendstil and follows similar movements such
as the Weiner Werkstatte in Austria. The base glass is blue which has
been cased to clear. The design on the glass resembles oak leaves. The
clear finish is slightly iridescent. The vase is acid stamped on the
bottom "Jean Beck Munchen". This Jugendstil vase is in in excellent
shape with no chips or cracks.
