| In 1920, H.P. Sinclaire built
a factory in Bath, N.Y. and started blowing his own glass. Using former
workers from Dorflinger and the master gaffer Emil Larson, he began
to produce art glass that rivaled Steuben for it's quality and design.
Because his colored glass was only produced for seven years it's more
scarce than similar art glass from factories like Steuben. This vase
is a lovely shade of amber that has a ribbed optic. There is a polished
pontil. It's signed on the bottom with an acid etched "S".
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is
a thin light scratch about an inch long on one side of the vase.
